About Jeremy

Mr. Jeremy Sweet has performed extensively as an accomplished pianist, spending much of the past two decades performing in the tri-state area. Having received a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Moravian College in 2009, Mr. Sweet’s performing career has allowed him to share the stage with such artists as Bobby McFarrin, David Sanchez, Joanna Pacitti, and has opened up for artists such as Brian Blade and Joey DeFrancesco. Mr. Sweet spent much of the 2010’s performing in and around Philadelphia where he took the role of sideman, accompanist, and leader of his own jazz trio. Mr. Sweet has appeared twice on the NBC Today Show and has made several other TV appearances including NBC’s Music Box and other local programming. He has performed at The Kimmel Center, The Philadelphia Museum, The Barnes Museum, The Curtis Center, The Theatre of Living Arts, Hard Rock Cafe Philly & Delaware, World Cafe Philly, Bethlehem Music Fest, Madam’s Organs in Washington DC, and Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, to name a few. In 2014 Mr. Sweet began working with one of Philadelphia’s largest talent agencies, joining one of their bands where he performed over 50 events a year, most of which were wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours. Mr. Sweet continues to perform private and public functions regularly.

Aside from performing, Mr. Sweet has spent over two decades instructing many other pianists of all ages, from beginners to advanced in everything from classical to pop to jazz. He continues to teach as the director of Jazz Studies at The Piano Workshop in Chester, NJ.
