We also serve New Haven, Middlesex County, and the Quiet Corner towns around Pomfret and Woodstock. If your venue sits just over a state line in Westchester, Rhode Island, or western Massachusetts, ask us anyway.

Yes, and we plan for it. Wind carries sound away from your guests on an exposed lawn at a place like Eolia Mansion or The Branford House, so we recommend instrumentation that projects, seating the ensemble to your side rather than behind you, and light amplification where the venue permits it. Salt air and direct sun also affect instruments, so we ask for shade or a tent position when the forecast calls for it.

We do. Barn and farm weddings in Morris, Washington, Sharon, Pomfret, and Woodstock are a regular part of our season. Venues more than 45 minutes from our nearest musician may carry a travel fee, which we quote up front before you book, never after.

Very likely. Ask your Connecticut representative and we will tell you honestly whether we have played there, and what we learned about the room. Ceremony acoustics vary a lot between a stone mansion, a hangar with a concrete floor, and a 150-year-old barn.

Earlier than you think. Late September and October weekends are the most competitive dates in the state, especially in the Litchfield Hills during peak foliage and along the shoreline while the weather holds. Twelve to fifteen months out is comfortable for those dates. Winter and midweek dates are usually available with a few months' notice.
