Tina Wagner is a violist and violinist who earned her Master’s degree in viola performance from the Eastman School of Music and her Bachelor’s from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She brings flexibility and creativity to her performances, mixing a classical background with modern styles and world music. Be it Beethoven, Bollywood, or Broadway, she has performed viola and violin in many different styles all over the US.
In addition to classical training, she has trained in workshops with the Silkroad Ensemble and the New York Arabic Orchestra, and performed in multiple Indonesian gamelan ensembles. She has also accompanied a variety of pop performers ranging from the Four Tops to Michael Flatley, and has done classical recordings with the labels Naxos and New World Records, as well as an audiobook and various indie rock albums.
