About Lisa

Lisa Rispoli has been a professional freelance vocalist and flutist for well over two decades. She has covered jazz, pop, light rock, classic R&B/soul and sacred music styles. Lisa has studied both flute and voice as part of her degree work toward a Bachelor of Music from Wilkes University and a Master of Music from the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.

Lisa has performed with the a cappella group Cincopella, the chamber ensemble Trio Sanasa, The Ian Andrews Dance Band, The Dynamic Brass, The Vitamin S Band, jazz fusion quintet The River’s Edge, The Wyoming Valley Oratorio Society, and several professional pit orchestras both as a flutist and vocalist. Lisa is the founder and front person of the Lisa Primatic Jazz Trio and has performed with George Young, Billy Harper, Paul Plishka, Lynn Harris, Doug Smith, Tara Buzash, Jesse Green, and Charmaine Neville. Lisa has also studied under such luminaries as Thomas Heinze and Bob Dorough. An avid arts educator, Lisa has been on the faculty of the Monmouth Conservatory, Red Bank, NJ, the Marywood University Summer Music Camp and the Cranbury Arts Council’s Summer Music Theatre workshop in Cranbury, NJ. Currently, she teaches music in the Freehold Township schools in Freehold, NJ and maintains a private studio as well.
